Dr. Vijay Wagh is a highly respected paediatrician in Canberra with over twenty years of experience in providing comprehensive care to children. His extensive background spans across Neonatal Intensive Care, Developmental and Community Paediatrics, and Paediatric Intensive Care. Dr. Wagh’s qualifications in Paediatrics come from prestigious institutions in both India and Australia, showcasing his commitment to excellence in child health.

Throughout his career, Dr. Wagh has served in several prominent hospitals, including Canberra Hospital, the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Adelaide, and The Children’s Hospital at Westmead. He has also contributed his expertise to numerous regional hospitals across Australia, gaining a wealth of experience in diverse clinical settings.

He is available for consultations by appointment at Canberra Paediatric and Specialist Centre located in Deakin, ACT.

When he’s not working as a dedicated paediatrician, Dr. Wagh enjoys exploring his passion for wildlife, travel, and nature photography. He also loves cooking and experimenting with new cuisines, although his friends good-naturedly tease him that his culinary skills are mostly limited to the barbeque!

Dr.Bakshi is an experienced General Paediatrician with over 20 years of medical practice, specializing in the comprehensive care of children from birth through adolescence. He is skilled in diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions, including infectious diseases, developmental disorders, and common childhood illnesses. Dr.Bakshi is committed to delivering holistic, evidence-based care and fostering strong relationships with patients and their families. He is passionate about promoting healthy growth and development while addressing physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Dr.Bakshi has worked as a General Paediatrician in Central Coast for more than 5 years. Presently he is based at Canberra Hospital as a General Paediatrician. Dr.Bakshi graduated from India and moved to the UK to gain more experience in paediatrics before settling down in Australia. He completed the formal Paediatric training in 2015 and was awarded the fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP).

Dr.Bakshi takes a compassionate and family-centred approach to paediatric care, ensuring that both the child’s and the family's needs are met with empathy and understanding. Recognizing the importance of early intervention and preventive care, Dr. Bakshi emphasizes patient education and collaborative care planning.

Dr.Bakshi has vast experience in managing General Paediatric conditions including behavioural disorders and neurodevelopmental disorders like ADHD & ASD. Dr.Bakshi is fluent in English, Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu. Outside of work, he loves spending time with his wife and 2 young children, traveling to new places and spending quality time with friends and family.

Dr. Deepti Raina is a dedicated Paediatric Specialist with over 14 years of experience in the
field of Paediatric Medicine. With a special interest in Behavioural and Developmental
Paediatrics, Dr. Raina is dedicated to supporting children through the complexities of growth,
learning, and emotional development. In addition to their focus on developmental milestones
and Behavioural challenges, Dr. Raina is well-versed in managing a range of medical
conditions affecting children.

She has extensive expertise in managing chronic and complex medical needs for children across varying age groups, ensuring personalized, compassionate, and high-quality care. With a strong foundation in clinical knowledge and a caring approach, Dr Raina is committed to supporting the health and well-being of her young patients.

Outside of her professional life, she is a proud mum to two beautiful girls. With a passion for baking and a love for exploring new places, Dr Raina finds joy in both creativity and adventure. Whether perfecting a new recipe or discovering hidden gems in her travels, she embraces every opportunity to create lasting memories and celebrate life's simple pleasures.
